My work is about paying attention to light and the beauty of nature. I focus on capturing the essence of our natural environments without human distractions, and aim to produce beautiful physical representations of the energy of our world.
For over twenty five years I have lived in Calderdale in West Yorkshire, a landscape carved by glaciers, of wooded valleys, tumbling rivers and rugged moors. The weather and shifting light create endlessly changing perspectives throughout the seasons.
Beyond Yorkshire, I love to return to Scotland where I grew up with its varying landscapes from the Borders to the Highlands & Islands. From the north of England and Wales down to Cornwall, the wealth of stunning scenery is always inspiring.
I am open to commissions of cherished places and landscapes - please message me and I'll be in touch to discuss.
